Why We Built AutoCraft Player: Our Vision

Video consumption rate is getting higher every day (almost 90% internet traffic is made up of video), but, unfortunately, WordPress has limited options for that.

Since WordPress is empowering 43% of the entire internet, we thought to contribute with our excellent idea so that people can make their website more video-friendly.

Problem with the current players

The existing media player plugins have limited customization possibilities, so users can’t get enough options to make their player more attractive. 

Another problem we noticed is the complex UI. It’s really hard to find your expected option inside the plugin.

Most players don’t offer opportunities to earn money for users, especially through videos. We noticed there are limited ad placement options.

Another point we’d like to talk about is that most plugins are video-focused. So, if people want audio along with video, they need to install a separate plugin.

And, yeah, most of them are not budget-friendly. Some plugins are cheap, so are their features.

How we stand out

We wanted to build a solution that has all the necessary features, advanced customization options, and doesn’t break your bank.

As an organization, we believe in the content democratization philosophy of WordPress. We want people to use video with the same freedom they enjoy with text and image-based content.
